Returning First Year Seminar Instructor Form

Thank you for your interest in teaching a First-Year Seminar at KU!

This form is for faculty who have already taught a First-Year Seminar and would like to teach the same seminar again.  If you are a new faculty member to the program, or would like to propose a new topic for a First-Year Seminar, fill out the New Instructor Application Form.

If you are a returning instructor who would like to apply to teach your seminar again, you should:

  1. Review the seminar requirements and instructor expectations for First-Year Seminars.
  2. Talk with your chair about the feasibility of teaching a seminar and ask them to fill out the Chair Endorsement Form.
  3. Submit the form below.

Please fill out this form by Friday, November 5, 2021 if you would like to teach your First-Year Seminar during the Fall 2022 semester.
